Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: September 16, 2026

The short version: LexxAutomates is free because some of the links on our pages are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. This never changes our calculator results or which products we recommend.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a normal link with a tracking tag that tells the retailer "this customer came from LexxAutomates." If you make a purchase after clicking, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale as a referral commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you'd gone to the retailer directly.

Which programs do we participate in?

  • Amazon Associates Program. LexxAutomates is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
  • Other affiliate networks. As the site grows we may join additional affiliate programs (for example, lead-generation networks for services like moving or lending). This page will be updated to list them.

How we keep recommendations honest

  • The math doesn't know about the links. Our calculators compute estimates from published data. Affiliate relationships have zero influence on the numbers.
  • We recommend what we'd tell a friend. If a product or service isn't worth it, we say so — commission or not.
  • Affiliate links are labeled. On-page affiliate links carry rel="sponsored" and appear next to a visible affiliate note.

FTC compliance

This disclosure follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines: any material connection between LexxAutomates and a retailer whose products we link to is disclosed clearly, on this page and next to the links themselves.
