Privacy Policy

LexxAutomates ("we," "us") is a small, independent publisher of free online tools and guides. This policy explains — in plain language — what information we collect, what we don't, and your rights. If you have questions, email us at hello@lexxautomates.com.
1. What we do NOT collect
Our calculators run entirely in your web browser. Anything you type into a calculator — home size, distances, dates — never leaves your device. We do not see it, store it, or share it. We do not require accounts, and we do not ask for your name, address, or payment information to use the site.
2. What we do collect
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and message so we can reply. We don't sell it or add you to a marketing list (we don't have one).
- Basic server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps — to keep the site secure and running. These logs are not used to identify you personally.
- Anonymous analytics (optional). We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which pages are popular (e.g., page views, not who viewed them). We do not use cross-site tracking or sell analytics data.
3. Cookies and advertising
We plan to display ads through networks such as Google AdSense. Ad networks may use cookies to serve relevant ads and measure performance. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking them may affect how some site features work. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's advertising policies.
4. Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links (for example, to Amazon). If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer may set a cookie to credit us with a referral commission, and may share limited transaction information (such as that a purchase occurred) with us. 5. How we use information
Any information described above is used only to: operate and secure the site, respond to your messages, understand aggregate readership, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except as described here (hosting, analytics, ad networks, affiliate programs) or when required by law.
6. Data retention
Emails you send are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider per its standard policies. We keep the minimum necessary, for the minimum time necessary.
7. Your rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise these rights, email hello@lexxautomates.com and we will respond within 45 days.
EU/UK visitors (GDPR): our lawful bases are legitimate interest (site operation, aggregate analytics) and consent (where required for cookies/ads). You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data, or object to processing, by emailing us.
8. Children's privacy
LexxAutomates is a general-audience site not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us, email us and we will delete the message.
9. Third-party sites
Our pages link to third-party sites (retailers, data sources). Their privacy practices are their own; this policy applies only to lexxautomates.com.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site grows (for example, when we add ad networks or new tools). The "last updated" date above will change, and material changes will be noted here.
