Who qualifies
- Project Director 18+, not enrolled in an academic institution, based in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or other U.S. territories
- prior principal-role film/TV production experience including at least one publicly exhibited feature-length documentary (or comparable experience)
- projects must be feature-length or short-form documentaries in the research or early development stage (no series). Grants must be accepted through a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor
Good to know: $10,000 per project plus mentorship and a cohort program. No deadline is stated on the official guidelines page; applications are accepted in cycles. Catapult does not make grants to individuals directly.
