Who qualifies
- Leading executive of an independently owned, for-profit restaurant, café, or food-service business registered and located in the 50 U.S. states, D.C., or Puerto Rico. Business must have an existing, active effort addressing food insecurity in its community
- operating at least 6 months
- max 15 locations with fewer than 50 employees per location
- 2025 revenue of $3M or less per location. 2025 recipients are ineligible. Presented by Toast.org in partnership with Hello Alice and GEN
Good to know: Not women-exclusive, but women restaurant/food founders are eligible. Requires an active food-insecurity program (community meals, food bank partnerships, surplus-food redirection, etc.). 2026 cycle; applications opened September 10, 2026.
